Master of Arts in Asia Pacific Studies (MAPS), Thammasat University is now accepting applications for scholarships for the academic year 2019/2020. A number scholarships are offered to nations of five ASEAN member countries namely the Kingdom of Cambodia, The Lao People’s Democratic Republic, The Republic of the Union of Myanmar, the Socialist Republic of Vietnam, the Republic of Indonesia, and the Republic of Philiphines to study the full time Master of Arts in Asia Pacific Studies Program at Thammasat University, Rangsit Center.
The awards are
supported by Master of Arts in Asia Pacific Studies (MAPS), Thammasat
University and the Thailand International Development Cooperation Agency
(TICA), Ministry of Foreign Affairs. The awards aim to provide opportunity for
students of these ASEAN Countries to study in the international cultural
environment as well as promoting the spirit of cooperation among students in
ASEAN community.
Each
scholarship award includes :
Tuition and fee throughout the period of
the scholarship award
Accommodation / monthly allowance
Health Insurance
A round trip ticket from the home
country to Thailand on award of the scholarship
The scholarship worth approximately 570.000 THB. The duration of the scholarship coverage is 18 months.

Semarang, io.undip.semarang: – On 2-3 July 2019, Diponegoro Internasional Office (DIO) currently participate in The 1st SHARE Student Mobility and Alumni Workshop in Ho Chi Minh City, Viet Nam. For those who haven’t know what SHARE was, it’s an Exchange Platform initiated by European Union in order to strengthen collaboration between ASEAN Countries in term of Student Exchange. This year marks the third year of this scholarship and the second year for Diponegoro University membership. This scholarship has sent so many students fulfilling their dreams of learning and gaining new experiences. The 1st SHARE Alumni Workshop and Gathering Undip represented by Ria Destya Ningrum (FISIP), Marko Tatang (FISIP), Paundria Dwijaastuti (FISIP) and Adrian Rizky Fatkhurahman (FISIP) the opportunity to share experiences with other alumni shareholders to form stronger and deeper alumni relations.

Semarang, io.undip.semarang: – On 13th June 2019, UNDIP held a graduation ceremony for 8 students (Vietnam, Poland, Russia, Netherlands, China, South Korea) from Darmasiswa program. Darmasiswa is a scholarship program offered to all foreign students from countries which have diplomatic relationship with Indonesian language (Bahasa Indonesia), art and culture.
Darmasiswa program is to promote and increase the interest in the language, art and culture of Indonesia. It has also been designed to provide stronger cultural links and understanding among participating countries.
UNDIP has been entrusted by Ministry of Education and Culture (MoEC), the Republic of Indonesia to incorporate in Darmasiswa program. Semarang, io.undip.semarang: Diponegoro University (UNDIP) as an Indonesian State University with main focus in eco-coastal development conducts tropical course program with a theme of ”Tropical Course on Ecotourism and Sustainable Development in Coastal Region”. The course was started initially at 2013 in UNDIP Campus in Semarang and Karimunjawa island, Central Java, Indonesia. The course education is implemented through participants understand construction by conceptual and field experience exploration. The course contents consist of introduction of coastal area, sustainable development, and culture and local wisdom. The course activities are the class and field activities. The class activities are lectures sessions to deliver the understanding, which uses methods of constructivism and student-centered learning in interactive two ways communication. The field activity also involve the participants with the local culture perfomances (music and dance).
PARTICIPANTS
Participants are students, academicians, or member of public who are interested to culture and sustainable development in coastal region. Both international and national participants are invited for this course (seats are limited).
