International Symposium on Food and Agro-biodiversity 2017 in Semarang, Indonesia


ISFA is International Symposium on Food and Agro-biodiversity which is sponsored by Faculty of Animal and Agricultural Sciences, Diponegoro University and supported by Indonesian Food Technologists.

ISFA 2017 will be held in Semarang, Central Java, Indonesia on Tuesday-Wednesday, September 26–27, 2017 and will focus on theme “Developing Sustainable Agriculture and Food Production“.

ISFA 2017 is the second symposium and continuation of the success of the first ISFA in 2014. The previous symposium which focused on the topic “Managing Biosafety and Biodiversity of Food from Local to Global Industries” has attracted more than 120 qualified participants as oral presenters and posters.

The current topic of “Developing Sustainable Agriculture and Food Production” is chosen since a strong yet sustainable agriculture and food production is essential to fulfill the increasing demand of food supply due to the ever-increasing population.

The current symposium would be the place for experts in sustainable agriculture and food production to share the recent discoveries and advances in this field.

All participants will be challenged to publish their research on agriculture at this symposium and the properly presented manuscript will be encouraged to be published in the Scopus-indexed proceedings:IOP Conference Series: Earth and Environmental Sciences (EES)

International Office of Universitas Diponegoro is pleased to inform you the selection results of SHARE Scholarship Batch 3.

SHARE Committee has received 400 applications. After deducting ineligible ones and scoring using the SHARE priority criterias, The Project Management Board have decided to grant the SHARE Scholarship to 13 students from Diponegoro University for studying abroad and 10 students from ASEAN Universities to study in Diponegoro University for the upcoming semester. Upon receiving confirmation from the selected students, SHARE will disseminate the Scholarship Offer Letter to candidates who have accepted the offer. Please kindly wait an email from SHARE Committee, then you may confirm your acceptance for the offer by replying their email or following their instruction in the body of the upcoming email.

Tropical Course 2017 in Undip: Call for Participants


Diponegoro University back to conduct the third tropical course entitled “ECOTOURISM AND SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT IN COASTAL REGION“. The program starts August 22-31, 2017 and the program will be free of charge for invited university partners.

Semarang and the island nearby Semarang, Karimunjawa will become a place to hold this program. This ten days program will be divided into two classes model: in and out class.

Committee will also provide the scheme for credit earning through involving in this course.

The participants will be encouraged to do the several activities in campus and center of Semarang city, such as cultural activities, batik art, mangrove plantation, etc in the beginning of course and in the Karimunjawa island, participants will obtain a challenge to get involve in the traditional daily live and coastal learning program.

[Calling for Participants] 1st Walailak University Cultural Camp


On behalf of our President, it is my great pleasure to introduce you the 1st Walailak University Cutural Camp 2017 to be held between 25th June – 1st July 2017 at Walailak University, Nakhon Si Thammarat Province and Samui Island, Surathani Province, Southern Thailand. Our Camp’s official website can be viewed at http://iao.wu.ac.th/?page_id=817.

The Cultural Camp aims to promote a global students’ network among our over 80 international participants. Here, our participants will engage and enjoy with one another many exciting activities. They will exchange the cultures of their countries and share knowledge about their societies. They will also explore many historical attractions in Nakhon Si Thammarat Province and beautiful Koh Samui, which is one of the most famous islands in Thailand.

The theme of the Camp is “In Remembrance of H.M. the Late King Bhumibol Adulyadej” who is revered in Thailand and internationally recognized for his hard work and dedication for Thai people. The participants will have an opportunity to visit a number of Royal Initiatives during the program. 

We are looking for students, who are undergraduate students studying in the second year or above, or Master students, whose age are not over 28 years old, to join our Camp.

For selected students, we will cover their accommodation, food and beverage, transportation, and entrance fee during the program. Students will be responsible ONLY for their round trip airfare tickets (to Nakhon Si Thammarat or Hat Yai airport) and insurance cost.
