LPDP Joint/Double Degree Admission 2026 at Universitas Diponegoro is Now Open


Universitas Diponegoro (UNDIP), through Diponegoro International Office (DIO) is pleased to announce that application for the LPDP Joint Degree/Double Degree Admission 2026 is now open.

This admission pathway is intended for prospective LPDP awardees who wish to pursue a Joint Degree or Double Degree Master’s program at Universitas Diponegoro in collaboration with internationally renowned partner universities.

About the Double Degree/Joint Degree Program

The Double Degree/Joint Degree Program consists of the following schemes:

  • Double Degree Scheme: A collaborative program that enables students to earn two academic degrees simultaneously within a single period of study from two different universities, one in Indonesia and one overseas.
  • Joint Degree Scheme: A collaborative program between an Indonesian university and an overseas partner university that enables students to earn a single academic degree through a jointly delivered program within one period of study.

Target Participants

The Double Degree and Joint Degree Program is intended for Indonesian citizens who wish to apply for master’s or doctoral scholarships in designated study programs that offer Double Degree or Joint Degree schemes. These programs must be part of an established collaboration between Indonesian universities and their overseas partner institutions.

Admission Requirements

Applicants must fulfill the following requirements:

1.Letter of Acceptance (LoA)

Applicants must obtain a Letter of Acceptance (LoA) from the overseas partner university for the selected Joint/Double Degree program.

2. Academic Qualification

A minimum cumulative GPA (CGPA) of 3.50 on a 4.00 scale (Bachelor’s Degree/S1 or equivalent), as stated on the official academic transcript.

3. Bachelor’s Degree Certificate

Applicants must have completed their undergraduate studies, as evidenced by an official Bachelor’s degree certificate.

How to Apply

Applicants are required to submit their application through the UNDIP Online Admission System.

Application Steps:

  1. Visit the UNDIP admission portal at https://pendaftaran.undip.ac.id.
  2. Create an account. If you already have an account, simply log in.
  3. Complete your personal information and finalize your profile.
  4. From the dashboard, select PendaftaranBeranda PendaftaranPendaftaran Reguler.
  5. Choose the Joint Degree/Double Degree (JD/DD) program and select your intended partner university.
  6. Select the study program you wish to apply for and click Daftar.
  7. Complete the application details and finalize your study program selection.
  8. Complete the application fee payment.
  9. Upload the required documents:
    • Bachelor’s Degree Certificate
    • Official Academic Transcript
    • Letter of Acceptance (LoA) from the Partner University
  10. Review your application carefully and click Finalize Submission.
  11. Wait for the admission announcement. Applicants who are admitted will receive the UNDIP Letter of Acceptance (LoA), which can be accessed through their respective admission accounts according to the published admission timeline.

Football Fun Match Strengthens Friendship Between International Students of UNDIP and UNS


Semarang, Indonesia – On Saturday, 30 May 2026, the International Office of Universitas Diponegoro (UNDIP) successfully organized a Football Fun Match between international students of Universitas Diponegoro and Universitas Sebelas Maret (UNS) at the Universitas Diponegoro Stadium, Tembalang, Semarang. The event provided an enjoyable opportunity for international students from both universities to connect, build friendships, and foster a stronger sense of community while studying in Indonesia.

The event commenced with welcoming remarks from Mr. Pulung Widhi Hari Hananto, S.H., M.H., LL.M., Deputy Director for Partnership and Global Connectivity, and followed by a speech from Mr. Abdul Rohman, S.Hum., Manager of Reputation, Partnership, and Global Connectivity. The Football Fun Match was officially inaugurated through a symbolic kick-off ceremony, during which Mr. Pulung passed the ball to Mr. Abdul Rohman, marking the start of the friendly competition.

The match was played in a lively and enthusiastic atmosphere at the Universitas Diponegoro Stadium, with both teams demonstrating excellent sportsmanship and teamwork throughout the game. After an exciting contest, the international students of Universitas Diponegoro secured a convincing 5-0 victory over the international students of Universitas Sebelas Maret.

Beyond the final score, the event achieved its primary objective of strengthening camaraderie and fostering meaningful connections among international students who have chosen Indonesia as their study destination. The Football Fun Match provided a platform for students from Semarang and Surakarta to interact, share experiences, and build friendships beyond academic settings.

The International Office of Universitas Diponegoro hopes that similar collaborative activities will continue to be organized in the future, further enhancing intercultural engagement and creating a welcoming environment for international students across Indonesian universities.

On Friday, 8 May 2026, Nanyang Technological University (NTU Singapore) engaged in a strategic discussion with Diponegoro University (UNDIP) as part of the NTU–UNDIP Talent Development Discussion 2026. The meeting provided an opportunity for both institutions to explore future collaboration in talent development, postgraduate education, human resource development, and broader international partnerships.

The NTU delegation was led by Dr. Maliki Osman, Senior Advisor (ASEAN and Flagship Programmes) at the NTU President’s Office and former Second Minister for Education of Singapore. He was accompanied by Prof. Lydia Helena Wong, Director of Global Alliance of Industries @ NTU (GAIN).

The delegation was warmly welcomed by the leadership of Diponegoro University, including Prof. Dr. Suharnomo, S.E., M.Si., Rector of UNDIP; Prof. Dr. Ir. Hadiyanto, S.T., M.Sc., IPU., Director of Reputation, Partnership and Global Connectivity (RPGC); and Pulung Widhi Hari Hananto, S.H., M.H., LL.M., Deputy Director for Partnership and Global Connectivity.

During the discussion, NTU Singapore expressed its interest in strengthening institutional cooperation with UNDIP through initiatives in postgraduate education, academic engagement, and talent development. NTU also introduced the Indonesia–NTU Singapore TalEnt Programme (INSTEP), a scholarship initiative jointly funded by NTU and Lembaga Pengelola Dana Pendidikan (LPDP). The programme is designed for Indonesian Bachelor’s degree graduates who aspire to pursue Master’s degree studies at NTU Singapore.

INSTEP offers comprehensive financial support, including tuition fees and monthly stipends. The programme focuses on strategic areas such as food security, energy, sustainability, digital transformation, and national resilience, in line with Indonesia’s future development priorities.

During the meeting, NTU Singapore also conveyed its aspiration to establish a long-term partnership with UNDIP in nurturing globally competitive Indonesian talents. Both institutions discussed opportunities for academic exchange, international exposure for students, and collaborative programmes that could contribute to the development of future professionals and leaders in strategic sectors.

Furthermore, the NTU delegation proposed the possibility of organizing seminars or dialogue sessions with UNDIP undergraduate students to introduce the INSTEP programme more broadly and encourage high-achieving students to pursue international postgraduate education opportunities at NTU Singapore.

The discussion took place in a productive and cordial atmosphere and marked an important step in strengthening the institutional relationship between UNDIP and NTU Singapore. Join Universiti Utara Malaysia (UUM) for the International Faculty Exchange Week (IFEX @UUM 2025) – a flagship global academic mobility initiative designed to spark intellectual exchange, strengthen cross-border partnerships, and enrich teaching and learning.

The program brings together scholars from across the globe for a 6-month Visiting Professor appointment, beginning with a one-week physical engagement at UUM from 25–31 October 2025, followed by continued virtual academic collaboration until 31 March 2026.

? What You’ll Do

As a Visiting Professor, you will:

  • Teach a minimum of 6 hours (1.5 hours in person during IFEX week + 4.5 hours virtually)
  • Engage in at least one of the following:
    • Co-supervise 2 UUM final-year students
    • Lead or co-lead a COIL (Collaborative Online International Learning) project
    • Participate or present in a UUM academic conference
    • Propose other academic collaborations with your UUM host school

The 2025 Summer DGIST Graduate School Research Internship for International Undergraduate Students is open now. As an intern, program participant will have the chance to contribute to ongoing research projects, develop professional skills, and engage with Korean culture for 6 weeks from the end of June to early August. If you think any of your students would be interested in this opportunity, we would be grateful if you could pass on this information.

Details of the Internship:

· Internship Period: June 30, 2025 to August 8, 2025 (6 weeks)

· Eligibility

 – Enrolled undergraduate students with at least 4 completed semesters by the time of application, or graduates (not currently enrolled in Master’s or PhD program), with foreign nationality (non-Korean)

 – Students/graduates with a cumulative GPA of 3.0/4.0 or higher

– Students with high levels of English language proficiency

· Labs: Research labs in 6 departments of DGIST Graduate School (STEM fields)
