Good news from Humanitarian Affairs Asia who will host the inaugural Peace Summit of Emerging Leaders at the United Nations Conference Centre in Bangkok, Thailand from 28th to 30th November 2018. On this 3 days event, the delegates will engage on the discussion that aims to nurture youth leaders into Peace Ambassadors who will bring a good impact to build an inclusive and harmonious society with the theme “Together for Peace”.
This event also featuring United Nations ReliefWeb, which will host an interactive session to discuss the use of technology in Peace Building and Conflict Management. United Nations ReliefWeb is a specialized digital service of the United Nations Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs (UN OCHA) and is the largest humanitarian information portal in the world. Founded more than 20 years ago, the portal is the leading source of humanitarian information on global crises and disasters. Good news for Diponegoro University student as The European Union (EU) and the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN) is pleased to announce the 5th batch of SHARE scholarship is open for application start on Friday, 28 September 2018 to Friday, 2 November 2018.
Undergraduate students from Diponegoro University whom interested to studying in another ASEAN country for one semester could access and start to apply at the SHARE’s official platform https://www.share-asean.org/ within the mentioned time period. However, due to time constraint, the ASEAN – EU mobility is not available for this 5th batch of SHARE Scholarship.
To attain the Letter of Endorsement, Diponegoro University’s student should send the required documents mentioned below before 19 October 2018 and undergo an assessment that will be conducted by The International Office of Diponegoro University. Thus, please send the documents to io@live.undip.ac.id with subject Outbound batch 5_Student Name.

Good news for every student of Diponegoro University who interested to study at Kangwon National University, because Korean Government (NIIED) invites 25 international students from 67 countries to undertake bachelor’s degree especially engineering or natural science majors in Kangwon National University (KNU) through Global Korea Scholarship (GKS).

Semarang, 8 September 2018 – one of the most anticipated sports events is successfully held in Universitas Diponegoro Stadium last Saturday. International Students Futsal Competition is attended by 10 prestigious universities in Indonesia, which are Universitas Padjajaran, IAIN Surakarta, Universitas Gajah Mada, UIN Walisongo, Universitas Negeri Yogyakarta, Universitas Wahid Hasyim, Universitas Katholik Soegijapranata, Universitas Sultan Agung Semarang, Universitas Negeri Semarang, and Universitas Diponegoro.
Dr. Ita Widowati as the Head of the International Office of Universitas Diponegoro opened the event by giving a speech and followed by another speech from Dr. Agus Setyawan as a Vice Director of Student Affairs of Universitas Diponegoro. Furthermore, the event officially started by Kick Off Ceremonial accompanied by Dr. Ita Widowati, Dr. Agus Setyawan and Mr. Kartika Widya Utama as the Vice Head of the International Office of Universitas Diponegoro.
In her opening speech, she wished the event could strengthen the relations not only between universities but also fellow international students to get along in a competitive yet supportive event like the International Students Futsal Competition 2018.
After a long and tense competition, Universitas Negeri Yogyakarta finally confirms the 1st place by defeating Universitas Padjajaran with 1 – 0 score. And IAIN Surakarta secured the 3rd place by defeating UIN Walisongo after the competitive penalty kick.
Even though, UIN Walisongo can’t secure the third place however they fair spirit in the field is awarded by Fair Play. Followed by Universitas Negeri Yogyakarta who also won as the Top Scorer. On the other hand, Hikaru Suzuki from Universitas Padjajaran won as the Best Player of The International Students Futsal 2018.
