International Office of Diponegoro University collaborating with International Office of Universitas Islam Indonesia will hold a Global Summer Program: Islam & The Hybrid Culture of Indonesia. This event will be held in Semarang starting from October 2 – 7, 2016. Therefore, we are opening a recruitment for 10 buddies from Diponegoro University with the eligibility, benefits and requirements as below:

- Speaking English fluently
- Good attitude
- Having own motorcycle (preferable)

Rector of Diponegoro University has annouced that the following names have been accepted as new international students of master program in Diponegoro University for Even Semester Academic year 2016/2017. The accepted students are required to do registration according to the schedule and rules in Diponegoro University. All of the new students are also required to take Bahasa Indonesia course before enrolling the class.

International Office of Diponegoro University with partnership with International Association of Agricultural and Related Sciences (IAAS) Local Committee of Diponegoro University successfully held “Opening Ceremony of IAAS 59th World Congress” on Tuesday, August 2nd 2016 in Meeting Hall of Library Building 1st floor, Diponegoro University, Tembalang campus.
The opening ceremony was started at 9 a.m. until 12 a.m. with two keynote speakers for welcoming the delegates, the vice rector of academic and student affairs, Prof. Dr. Ir. Muhammad Zainuri DEA and the IAAS LC UNDIP student advisor, Dr. Ir. Delianis Pringgenies, M.Sc. This event is attended by the students who come from 24 countries around the world.
IAAS itself has a headquarter in Belgium since 1957 and has a lot of member from 40 countries around the world. In Indonesia, there are 8 university who join IAAS Indonesia, they are IAAS LC of Bogor Agricultural University (IPB), IAAS LC of University of Brawijaya (UB), IAAS LC of Padjadjaran University (UNPAD), IAAS LC of Diponegoro University (UNDIP), IAAS LC of Sebelas Maret University (UNS), IAAS LC of Gadjah Mada University (UGM), IAAS LC of University of Mataram (UNRAM), IAAS LC Lambung Mangkurat University (UNLAM), and there are still always be some potentials to develop more member in university which has agricultural faculty.

UNIVERSITI MALAYSIA TERENGGANU INTERNATIONAL ANNUAL SYMPOSIUM ON SUSTAINABILITY SCIENCE AND MANAGEMENT (UMTAS) 2016 is held as an effort to improve the development of sustainability in science and technology. It provides a platform for scientists, researchers, practitioners and postgraduate students from all over the world to share their ideas and research findings and present solutions to unsustainable livelihood issues in developed and developing countries. The theme for the conference is Science and Technology for Sustainable Livelihood thus, all related studies on the interaction between natural and social systems and how these interactions affect the environment.
Conference objectives:
1. To bring together lecturers, scientists, academicians and researchers to discuss and deliberate on scientific issues and technological solution.
2. To provide a platform for scientists in various disciplines to present their research findings and to establish networking linkages.

Full papers presented at UMTAS 2016 will be published in the conference proceedings and shall be distributed to participants during the registration at the event. The volume will come with an ISBN.
Selected papers will be offered an opportunity to be published in either the Journal of Sustainability Science and Management (index in SCOPUS) http://jssm.umt.edu.my or Journal of Business and Social Development http://jbsd.umt.edu.my. Selection of articles will be based on a number of factors such as relevancy with the journal focus areas, quality of research, originality and style. Selected papers may be required to undergo further review and editing before actual publication in those journals.
Poster Presentation
– All posters must be an A1 Portrait Poster (size 594 mm (width) x 840 mm (height)).
– The graphics colour and fonts used should be visible from one meter.
