Australia Awards Scholarships
Australia Awards Scholarships are prestigious international awards offered by the Australian Government to the next generation of global leaders to obtain a Masters or PhD degree from an Australian tertiary institution. The Scholarships have been an important component of the Australian Government’s aid program in Indonesia since 1953. Through study, research and network, scholarship recipients develop the skills and knowledge to drive change and help build enduring people-to-people links with Australia.
The Scholarships offer a wide range of benefits that include English language and academic support before studying in Australia, a series of professional development and networking activities that will enrich the knowledge, experience and network of scholars prior to, during and after their study. Please visit this page for more information on the benefits of the Australia Awards Scholarships.
Applicants are assessed on their professional qualities, soft skills, academic competence and, most importantly, their potential to overcome development challenges in Indonesia.
Australia Awards Scholarships aim to achieve a balance across female and male scholars and encourage applicants from diverse backgrounds.
These prestigious Scholarships are available to all Indonesians with the potential to contribute positively to sustainable development in their country. The Scholarships also include support for the Equity Target Groups, aiming to overcome access barriers and reflect the development priorities of both governments. The groups comprise people with disability, women from disadvantaged backgrounds and individuals from equity target provinces.
Applications close on 30 April 2024 at 20.59 WIB. Applying is now even easier through a single application form at this link.
When applying online, all essential supporting documents must be uploaded on the online application form to meet the specific requirements for Indonesia.
We advise applicants to submit their applications online well before the closing date. The online application facility will be busiest in the days leading up to the application deadline, and applicants may experience delays.
