This competition will take place in ICT building, Tembalang Campus of Diponegoro University, Semarang Central Java on May 2, 2016.

Nagaoka University of Technology (NUT) is currently inviting students from overseas universities to apply for the Nagaoka Summer School for Young Engineers (NASSYE) in 2017. the program is open to students in their third year of university undergraduate programs and students in their first year of master’s programs. the program also offers students the opportunity to participate in research on topics set by the laboratories at NUT, as well as conduct collaborative work with NUT students in Nagaoka, Japan.
Nagaoka University will accept 20 students for 2017 NASSYE.
The students participating in this program will receive the scholarship.

Application for Darmasiswa Scholarship 2017/2018 is oficially opened!
The DARMASISWA program was started in 1974 as part of ASEAN (Association of South East Asian Nations) initiative, admitting only students from ASEAN. However, in 1976 this program was extended to include students from other countries such as Australia, Canada, France, Germany, Hungary, Japan, Mexico, the Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Sweden, and USA.
The main purpose of the DARMASISWA program is to promote and increase the interest in the language and culture of Indonesia among the youth of other countries. It has been designed to provide stronger cultural links and understanding among participating countries.
For the academic year 2017 – 2018, the Government of the Republic of Indonesia once more invites the foreign students to participate in the Darmasiswa Scholarship at several universities in Indonesia. The program will commence in September 2017. Detailed information concerning the scholarship and the necessary forms can be downloaded from the links below www.io.undip.ac.id
Prospective students are required to register and submit all documents in Darmasiswa RI official website apply darmasiswa.kemdikbud.go.id. For students who are not in the student’s home country is not allowed to be registered through the Indonesian Embassy/Consulate General in the participating countries (non-citizenship). Online registration will proceed from 9 December 2016 – 9 February 2017.

- Curriculum vitae/resume.
- Medical certificate.
- Passport valid at least 18 months from time of arrival in Indonesia (estimated arrival : 1st August 2017).
- Recommendation Letter From Education Institution/Professional Institution on official letterhead and signature (in English).
- Last academic transcript and certificates (in English).
- Language certificate (if applicable).
- Other certificates that related to the field you’re applying (if applicable).
- Writing essay about purpose of study (in english or bahasa Indonesia maximum 500 words).

Semarang, io.undip.ac.id; Singapore Society for Microbiology and Biotechnology (SSMB) organise International Union Microbiological Societies Congresses 2017 in Singapore. Over the span of 5 days, it brings together three congresses; 15th International Congress of Bacteriology and Applied Microbiology, 15th International Congress of Mycology and Eukaryotic Microbiology and 17th International Congress of Virology.With more than 100 International and regional speakers, IUMS 2017 Singapore will highlight the future direction of Microbiology for the next decade and will provide excellent opportunities to foster scientific development. The Organisers invite scientists, researchers, clinicians, post-doctoral fellow, PhD students, post-graduate and professionals in microbiology fields to submit their abstract for Oral and/or Poster Presentation to the IUMS 2017 Singapore on those congresses.
