Korean Government Scholarship Program at Kangwon National University is Opened!


Good news for every student of Diponegoro University who interested to study at Kangwon National University, because Korean Government (NIIED) invites 25 international students from 67 countries to undertake bachelor’s degree especially engineering or natural science majors in Kangwon National University (KNU) through Global Korea Scholarship (GKS).

Universitas Negeri Yogyakarta is The Winner of International Student Futsal Competition 2018


Semarang, 8 September 2018 – one of the most anticipated sports events is successfully held in Universitas Diponegoro Stadium last Saturday. International Students Futsal Competition is attended by 10 prestigious universities in Indonesia, which are Universitas Padjajaran, IAIN Surakarta, Universitas Gajah Mada, UIN Walisongo, Universitas Negeri Yogyakarta, Universitas Wahid Hasyim, Universitas Katholik Soegijapranata, Universitas Sultan Agung Semarang, Universitas Negeri Semarang, and Universitas Diponegoro.

Dr. Ita Widowati as the Head of the International Office of Universitas Diponegoro opened the event by giving a speech and followed by another speech from Dr. Agus Setyawan as a Vice Director of Student Affairs of Universitas Diponegoro. Furthermore, the event officially started by Kick Off Ceremonial accompanied by Dr. Ita Widowati, Dr. Agus Setyawan and Mr. Kartika Widya Utama as the Vice Head of the International Office of Universitas Diponegoro.

In her opening speech, she wished the event could strengthen the relations not only between universities but also fellow international students to get along in a competitive yet supportive event like the International Students Futsal Competition 2018.

After a long and tense competition, Universitas Negeri Yogyakarta finally confirms the 1st place by defeating Universitas Padjajaran with 1 – 0 score. And IAIN Surakarta secured the 3rd place by defeating UIN Walisongo after the competitive penalty kick.

Even though, UIN Walisongo can’t secure the third place however they fair spirit in the field is awarded by Fair Play. Followed by Universitas Negeri Yogyakarta who also won as the Top Scorer. On the other hand, Hikaru Suzuki from Universitas Padjajaran won as the Best Player of The International Students Futsal 2018.

[CALL for PARTICIPANTS] 2nd Walailak University Cultural Camp 2018 (WUCC2018)

It is great pleasure to introduce the 2nd Walailak University Cultural Camp 2018 (WUCC2018) in the theme of “In Honour of HRH Princess Chulabhorn Walailak: Cultures without Borders”. The camp will be held between 16th – 23rd June 2018 at Walailak University, Nakhon Si Thammarat Province and Bangkok, Thailand.

WUCC2018 aims to promote a global students’ network among 160 international participants (100 non-Thai citizens and 60 Thai students from Walailak University). Throughout the 8-day program, the camp participants will have opportunity to EXPLORE Nakhon Si Tammarat Province, the historical city on the eastern part of southern Thailand, and Bangkok, the capital city of Thailand, EXCHANGE cultures, ENGAGE in various activities among global youth, and ENJOY every moment together.

– One-way air-ticket from Bangkok, Donmueang International Airport, to Nakhon Si Thammarat Airport on 16th June 2018

– Accident and health insurance

[CALL for APPLICANTS] CHAOYANG UNIVERSITY OF TECHNOLOGY WINTER SCHOOL PROGRAM


Chaoyang University of Technology (CYUT) will hold a FREE Winter School from Feb. 22 to Feb. 28, 2018. This Study Program, which has been approved and granted by the Ministry of Education in Taiwan, has specifically been designed for Vietnamese and Indonesia students. The program features Chinese learning and Cultural experiences. Novices or beginners who achieve TOCFL Band A (HSK 1~4) are all welcome to join.
