Diponegoro University’s Tropical Course and Student Exchange Program on ”Ecotourism and Sustainable Development in Coastal Region” 2019

Semarang, io.undip.semarang: Diponegoro University (UNDIP) as an Indonesian State University with main focus in eco-coastal development conducts tropical course program with a theme of ”Tropical Course on Ecotourism and Sustainable Development in Coastal Region”. The course was started initially at 2013 in UNDIP Campus in Semarang and Karimunjawa island, Central Java, Indonesia. The course education is implemented through participants understand construction by conceptual and field experience exploration. The course contents consist of introduction of coastal area, sustainable development, and culture and local wisdom. The course activities are the class and field activities. The class activities are lectures sessions to deliver the understanding, which uses methods of constructivism and student-centered learning in interactive two ways communication. The field activity also involve the participants with the local culture perfomances (music and dance).

PARTICIPANTS

Participants are students, academicians, or member of public who are interested to culture and sustainable development in coastal region. Both international and national participants are invited for this course (seats are limited).

Jungle tracking in the forest

Mangrove exploration

Fauna exploration in wet land

Trip back to Semarang

Social interaction with local people

Focus group discussion

Formulation for problem solving

FACILITIES

Meals during course, student room during course (including in Karimunjawa), city tranport, snorkling, underwater photos, hats, and course kits. Ticket from/to home country is not included.

Sanuki Exchange Program at Kagawa University-Japan [Fall 2019] is Opened!

Semarang, io.undip.semarang : Good news! International Office (IO) of Diponegoro University is pleased to announce  all students in Diponegoro University that applications are now opened for One-Semester Exchange Program (Sanuki Program) for Fall ( 1^st October to mid February) 2019 at Kagawa University, Japan.

To apply this program, Diponegoro University’s students have to submit all documents in electronic format to our e-mail: io@live.undip.ac.id with subject Sanuki Program-Kagawa University_Student Name

The required documents:

• Certificate of current enrollment
• Application for certificate of eligibility (complete all sheets in the Ms. Excel file and include an ID photo of the form-A) download
• Certificate of scholarship (for scholarship students only) or for self – financed students only need to submit these following (i-i):

(i) Financial supporter’s certificate of employment

(ii) Financial supporter’s certificate of income verification or tax payment

(iii) Family register showing the relationship between the applicant and his/her financial supporter

(iv) Certificate of the bank deposit balance

• Academic transcript (in English)
• Nomination letter (must be issued by International Office)
• Application form for Exchange Student (fill out the form-B except item 1 & 2) download
• Letter of Guarantee (fill out all the details of form-C) download
• Essay on “Three things you plan to learn from joining Sanuki Program”  — form-D download
• Curriculum Vitae (free format but please make sure to include following items: name, date of birth, current address, e-mail address, education history, work experience)
• Copy of passport (expiry date must be more than 6 months)
• ID photo (in JPEG format)
• Health certificate — download

International Office (IO) of Diponegoro University is pleased to announce  all students in Diponegoro University that applications are now opened for Fall Semester Exchange Program 2019 at Kagoshima University.

To apply this program, Diponegoro University’s students have to submit all documents in electronic format to our e-mail: io@live.undip.ac.id with subject Kagoshima Program_Student Name

The required documents:

• Application Form (Form A Japanese Version) (Form A English) *A person who holds N1 or N2 in the Japanese Language Proficiency Test, please fill out Form A in Japanese.
• Application Form (Form B)
• Reference Form (Form C)
• Official Transcript in English
• Three Identical Photos (L40mm x W30mm)  *The photos must be taken within 3 months
• Certificate of Japanese Language Proficiency Test, TOEFL, IELTS, etc. to prove student’s language ability
• Certificate of Student Registration/Enrollment
• Photocopy of Passport
• Health Certificate in English  (Form D)
