Semarang, io.undip.ac.id – The China–ASEAN Scholarship Programmes for Academic Year 2026/2027 are officially administered through the Diponegoro International Office (DIO) as part of Universitas Diponegoro’s ongoing commitment to strengthening academic cooperation between China and ASEAN member countries.
This prestigious scholarship programme aims to support outstanding students from ASEAN countries to pursue higher education opportunities through collaborative academic frameworks involving Chinese partner institutions. The initiative reflects a shared vision to promote educational exchange, cultural understanding, research collaboration, and human resource development across the region.

Scholarship Coverage
- Tuition: Tuition fee waiver
- Free university dormitory or accommodation subsidy;
- Stipend: Master’s students: CNY 3,000 per month;
Doctoral students: CNY 3,500 per month.
- Insurance: CNY 800 per person per year;
CNY 400 per person (for programs lasting less than six months)

Document Requirements (for Internal Selection by DIO)
- Student Status
Applicants must be graduate students who have completed the study, as proven by a valid Student ID Card (KTM) and KRS.
- Minimum GPA
A minimum cumulative GPA of 3.00, as shown in the official academic transcript (english version).
- Recommendation Letter
A recommendation letter issued by the Dean or Vice Dean of the applicant’s faculty.
- Foreign Language Proficiency
CEFR B2 level or higher proficiency in either English or Mandarin is required.
- Mandarin: HSK(Level 4) or higher etc.
- English: IELTS 5.5 or above, TOEFL iBT score of 72 or higher, etc.
- Study Plan
Applicants should write study plan (maximum 300 words, PDF, english) out lining the applicant academic and personal objective for joining this scholar ship
