Semarang, 4 March 2026 – Universitas Diponegoro (UNDIP) conducted a strategic coordination meeting with International Talent Circulation (INTACT) Base Taiwan-Indonesia in preparation for the Taiwan–Indonesia International Fall 2026 INTENSE Programs Education Fair, which will be hosted at Muladi Dome UNDIP.

The meeting took place at the Rector’s Meeting Room, Widya Puraya Building, and focused on strengthening collaboration to expand educational and professional pathways for Indonesian students through the Taiwan International Industrial Talents Education Special Program (INTENSE Program). The coordination process was closely supported by the Diponegoro International Office (DIO) as part of its mandate to facilitate and oversee UNDIP’s international partnerships.

From UNDIP, the discussion was led by Prof. Dr. Ir. Hadiyanto, S.T., M.Sc., IPU, Mr. Pulung Widhi Hari Hananto, S.H., M.H., LL.M., and Mr. Abdul Rohman, S.Hum., who steered the institutional dialogue on academic alignment, event preparation, and strategic outreach.

From INTACT Base Taiwan, the discussion was led by Prof. Shuenn-Ren Cheng, serving as the official representative of INTACT Base Taiwan. The presentation session was also delivered by Mr. Muhammad Eraz Aufarrahman, Program Manager and representative of INTACT Base Taiwan, who outlined the technical framework of the INTENSE Program, its implementation mechanisms, and coordination strategies for the 2026 EduFair.

MoA Signing and Institutional Commitment

As part of the continued partnership, a Memorandum of Agreement (MoA) was formally signed, marking a strengthened and more operational commitment between both institutions. The signing ceremony was facilitated institutionally by the Diponegoro International Office, ensuring compliance with UNDIP’s international cooperation governance and documentation procedures.

The MoA signing on behalf of UNDIP was represented by Vice Rector Wijayanto, S.IP., M.Si., Ph.D., reflecting the university’s full institutional support for the INTENSE Program and the upcoming 2026 EduFair.

Meanwhile, from INTACT Base Taiwan, the MoA was signed by Prof. Shuenn-Ren Cheng, reaffirming INTACT’s commitment to advancing Taiwan–Indonesia academic and industry-linked collaboration under the INTENSE framework.

The agreement is grounded in mutual respect and reciprocity, in accordance with the regulations of Indonesia and Taiwan (Republic of China), and aims to foster sustainable academic exchange and industry-linked education initiatives.

Preparing for the 2026 INTENSE EduFair

The upcoming EduFair at Muladi Dome UNDIP is expected to serve as a comprehensive platform for Indonesian students to explore study opportunities in Taiwan, particularly under the INTENSE Program for the Fall 2026 intake.

In the lead-up to the event, the Diponegoro International Office (DIO) will continue coordinating partner communication, campus-wide dissemination, and operational readiness to ensure the successful implementation of the international education fair.

Through this collaboration, UNDIP and INTACT Base Taiwan reaffirm their shared commitment to strengthening global academic networks and creating impactful, sustainable Taiwan–Indonesia partnerships in the years ahead.
