Seoul International Winter School (SIWS) 2026, which will take place from February 8 to 21, 2026, in Seoul, South Korea.
This short-term academic and cultural program offers a dynamic blend of Korean language classes, Korean studies lectures, and hands-on cultural activities. SIWS is open to students from all universities and academic backgrounds who are eager to experience Korean culture in one of Asia’s most exciting cities.

Semarang | IOUNDIP.ac.id – University of Nottingham Ningbo China (UNNC) Scholarships for Exchange Students
Global Ambassador Scholarship
The scholarship is to recognize the contribution of incoming exchange students from UNNC global partners who actively engaged with Global Engagement Office in promoting UNNC to their fellow students in home university and home country. Successful applicants will be offered RMB 5,000 each for their exchange study period at UNNC.
- Ningbo International Student Government Scholarship for Academic Excellence
The winners will be awarded a one-off payment of RMB3,000 per semester. Students need to prepare some paperwork and apply via UNNC Global Engagement Office.
- UNNC mobility scholarship
This scholarship will be awarded to both exchange and study abroad students (not including Nottingham UK and Malaysia campuses). Winners will be selected by their academic performance at home university and the success ratio will be around 50% of total nomination you send to us. The winners will be awarded a one-off payment of RMB 6,000 each.

Document Requirements
Active Student Status
- Applicants must be active students who have completed at least their third semester, as proven by a valid Student ID Card (KTM) and KRS.
- Minimum GPA
A minimum cumulative GPA of 3.00, as shown in the official academic transcript.
- Recommendation Letter
A recommendation letter issued by the Dean or Vice Dean of the applicant’s faculty.
- Foreign Language Proficiency
Proof of foreign language proficiency:
o TOEFL score of at least 500 (or equivalent), or
- Study Plan
A written study plan (maximum 300 words) outlining the applicant’s academic and personal objectives for joining the exchange program (PDF)

About
The “Scholars Programme on EU-ASEAN Relations (SPEAR)” is a series of discussions for
academics in the ASEAN region, including Timor Leste.
Applicants must be full-time or part-time scholars whose research and teaching focuses
on international relations, ASEAN studies, EU foreign policy or related fields, hold at least a Master’s degree or equivalent, a citizens and residents of one of the 10 ASEAN.
SPEAR 2025 will consist for maximum 20 applicants and 7 sessions (incl. 3 site events) covering a range of topics, commencing on 11-12 November 2025 at Yudistira Room of Artotel Gelora Senayan Hotel Jakarta, Indonesia.
How to Participate?
Application Period: 2 September – 3 October 2025, each applicant must submit CV, a Statement of Purpose, and supporting documents (no later than Friday, 3 October 2025 at 12.00 noon (Jakarta time) via online at: www.eu.spear.org). Announcement of the selected participants will be posted on the above-mentioned website and EU social media on Monday, 20 October 2025.
