International Office (IO) Universitas Diponegoro would like to inform you that application is now open for Kagoshima University Exchange Program Spring Semester 2017
The requirement for the application is as follow :
– Application Form (Form A) — A person who holds N1 or N2, please fill out Form A in Japanese.
– Application Form (Form B)
– Reference Form (Form C)
– Official Transcript in English
– Three Identical Photos within 3 months, 4cm x 3cm
– Certificate of Japanese Language Proficiency Test, or TOEFL, IELTS, etc.
– Certificate of Student Registration/Enrollment
– Photocopy of Passport
– Health Certificate in English

Two weeks of summer program entitled “Islam the Hybrid Culture of Indonesia” will be conducted in Yogyakarta and Semarang, Indonesia by two universities: Diponegoro University and Islamic University of Indonesia starting from September 25 – October 8, 2016. During one week, participant will enjoy the course in Yogyakarta and for the rest of course will be conducted in Semarang. Please see further program in the following pictures.

We welcome you to follow this program for free and universities will cover the tuition fee and daily live during the program. However, only the universities that have an MOU to both universities are eligible to apply this summer program.

SECOND BATCH OF EU SHARE SCHOLARSHIP IS OPEN FOR APPLICATION


As student mobility plays an important role in the further development of higher education in ASEAN, the European Union (EU) and ASEAN have teamed up to announce today the opening of their second batch of scholarship for January-July 2017 intake. Undergraduate students in ASEAN countries interested in studying one semester in another ASEAN country are invited to apply for one of the 125 full scholarships available.

The scholarship scheme is part of the work of the “EU Support to Higher Education in the ASEAN Region, or SHARE, designed to encourage ASEAN student mobility and to test the application of an ASEAN-wide credit transfer systems.

Each of the 125 scholarships provides a fully funded, short-term (one semester) exchange of undergraduate students from selected universities across the region. It is open for students studying at participating universities in ASEAN countries, who have completed at least 2 semesters of study. The following universities have been nominated by their respective ministries of edcuation or higher education to participate in the SHARE scholarship scheme and therefore students from the following universities are encouraged to apply:

  • Cambodia: Royal University of Phnom Penh, University of Cambodia, Phnom Penh International University, National University of Management Cambodia
  • Indonesia: Universitas Indonesia, Universitas Diponegoro, Bogor Agricultural University, Bina Nusantara University
  • Laos: National University of Laos
  • Malaysia: Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia, Taylors University Malaysia, Universiti Teknologi Malaysia, Universiti Malaysia Sabah
  • Myanmar: University of Yangon Mandalay University, Myanmar Maritime University, Yangon University of Economics
  • Philippines: University of the Philippines, University of Santo Tomas, De La Salle University, Ateneo de Manila University
  • Thailand: Chulalongkorn University, Payap University, King Mongkut’s University of Technology Thonburi, Thammasat University
  • Vietnam: Viet Nam National University, Hanoi University of Science and Technology, Ho Chi Minh University of Technology and Education, Hue University

Summer Course 2016: Indonesian Complimentary Nursing Therapy


Semarang, io.undip.ac.id; Diponegoro University in collaboration with Muhammadiyah Surakarta University (UMS) conduct a summer course entitled “Summer Course Indonesian Complimentary Nursing Therapy” on Wednesday, 10 August 2016 to Friday, 12 August 2016. This event is attended by 25 participants from Indonesia, Madagascar, Thailand, Papua New Guinea, and Libya. In the opening ceremony of the summer course, one of the delegates from Khon Khaen University, Thailand stated that it is their first time visiting Indonesia and they are so happy that Indonesian people are kind and friendly. After the opening ceremony, delegates of the summer course attended a seminar held in the department of nursing of Diponegoro University to study about the complimentary nursing therapy. The first day activity is ended with the city tour around Semarang.

In the second day, the delegates attended a half day full of seminar about the holistic nursing and then went to the home care to learn about hypnotherapy such as bekam. Meanwhile, in the last day, the delegates visited Sido Muncul Factory to learn about herbal medicine and its production process.
