Semarang, io.undip.ac.id – The U.S.-Indonesia Marine Conservation Fellows will participate in the larger Atlas Corps Fellowship program. The Atlas Corps Fellowship engages professionals committed to social change in 12-18 months of service with organizations online and in the U.S. to learn best practices, build organizational capacity, and return home to create a network of global leaders. The potential host institution of this program such as

U.S. National Oceanographic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA), National Marine Protected Areas Center, U.S. National Park Service Submerged Resources Center, the Maritime Archaeological and Historical Society, and other institutions.

Specifically, The U.S.-Indonesia Marine Conservation Fellows can participate in the Atlas Corps Global Leadership Lab professional development series and enjoy networking opportunities with Atlas Corps Fellows from around the world.  Fellows can engage in group cultural activities like a D.C. Monuments Tour, sporting events, U.S. holiday celebrations, and more.

Basic Eligibility Requirements

Candidates for this special fellowship must be Indonesian citizens, have a college degree, have 2-10 years of full-time professional experience, be highly proficient in English, be no older than 40, and be committed to applying their experience in Indonesia after the program. Candidates should also have experience in research, report writing, data analysis, or project/program management. Indonesian citizens from the Banten province are strongly encouraged to apply. 

Preferred Eligibility Criteria 

·         One or more years of experience in marine conservation, archaeology, oceanography, or a similar field

·         Field research or data analysis experience

·         Familiarity with geographic information systems (GIS) using ArcGIS, QGIS, etc.

·         Interest in environmental and cultural preservation, history, sustainable tourism, or marine biodiversity

·         Scuba diving experience or interest in scuba diving

*Please note:

– Applicants do not need to possess all of the preferred eligibility criteria. However, competitive candidates for this opportunity will meet some of the preferred eligibility criteria.

– This program open for every professional with criteria mentioned above (Not only for government employees).

The anticipated start date for this Fellowship is in July 2022. The deadline to receive priority consideration for a Fellowship within this special initiative is March 1, 2022. Any applications submitted after the priority deadline will be considered on an as-needed basis.

Semarang, io.undip.ac.id – The Austrian Embassy has the pleasure to transmit new information material on the University of Vienna’s “Summer School 2022; for International and European Studies”, which will take place from 16 July to 13 August 2022.

The European Studies courses are held in English and focus on Europe and the European Union. They cover political, economic and legal, but also historical and cultural aspects of the multiple transformations the continent is currently undergoing. The Austrian Arbitration Academy focuses on international dispute settlement by arbitral tribunals.

Courses are particularly designed to meet the special needs and interests of learners from professional areas from all over the world.

Deadline application

  1. Offline : FEB 10 , 2022 (for April 2022 Commencement)
  2. Online : JUNE 10, 2022 (For October 2022 Commencement)

Steps to apply:

  1. Obtain letter of endorsement from the faculty or school
  2. Send the application package (point 1, academic transcript, student ID card, passport) to exchange@live.undip.ac.id subject; KUEP2022_name_faculty
  3. Diponegoro International Office, then forward it to Kanzawa University with Letter of Recommendation from Undip
  4. Kanazawa University (KU) will notify the successful applicants to complete the online admission
  5. Follow the KU’s instruction for the rest
