KMOU is calling for applications for the incoming exchange student program for Fall 2024 & Spring 2025.
Eligibility for Undip’s student:
1. Undip active student
2. Minimum semester 3 (proven by letter of recommendation signed by Dean)
3. CGPA min 3,00
4. Able to communicate in English / Korea
Required Docs:
1. Letter of Recommendation (from Dean addressed to Rector)
2. Academic Transcript (signed by Vice Dean )
3. Korean (TOPIK) OR English language proficiency TOEFL IBT, TOEIC, IELTS, etc (must be official). Note: TOEIC Listening and Reading is acceptable and relatively cheap for student. Do not take TOEIC Bridge (it’s for children)

We are excited to announce the opening of applications for the Ryukyus Student Exchange Program for the fall semester of 2024. This program offers an incredible opportunity for students to immerse themselves in a diverse academic and cultural environment at Ryukyus University.

About the Program: The Ryukyus Student Exchange Program allows students to spend a semester studying at Ryukyus University in Japan, experiencing its renowned academic programs and vibrant campus life. Participants will have the chance to engage with students from around the world, broaden their perspectives, and create lifelong memories.

Eligibility: To be eligible for the program, students must:

  • Be currently enrolled at Diponegoro University
  • Meet the academic requirements set by both Diponegoro University and Ryukyus University
  • Have proficiency in English or Japanese, depending on the language of instruction for their chosen courses

Application Process: Interested students should visit the Diponegoro International Office website to access the application form and detailed instructions. Semarang; Diponegoro International Office – On August 6, 2017, the Government of Canada announced the Canada-ASEAN Scholarships and Educational Exchanges for Development (SEED) program to provide opportunities for students from ASEAN member states to conduct short-term study or research in Canadian post-secondary institutions in areas that contribute to the implementation of the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development .

 

The Canada-ASEAN Scholarships and Educational Exchanges for Development program aims to reduce poverty in the developing countries of ASEAN and to achieve the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development . Scholarships and educational exchanges will contribute towards the achievement of all Sustainable Development Goals  (SDGs). SEED contributes to strengthening people-to-people ties between Canada and the Indo-Pacific region.

SEED scholarships are facilitated through institutional collaborations and student exchange agreements between post-secondary institutions in Canada and their partner institutions in ASEAN countries.

The Canada-ASEAN Scholarships and Educational Exchanges for Development Program is a Short-term Exchange Program under Global Affairs Canada’s International Scholarships Program.

Eligibility

To be eligible, you must be:

  • ✔ a citizen of an ASEAN member state
    • Brunei Darussalam, Cambodia, Indonesia, Laos (Lao People’s Democratic Republic (Lao PDR)), Malaysia, Myanmar, The Philippines, Singapore, Thailand, or Vietnam
  • ✔ a student enrolled full-time at a post-secondary institution in an ASEAN member state
  • ✔ paying tuition fees to that institution at the time of application and for the full duration of your exchange

Students are not eligible for this scholarship if:

  • you hold or have a pending application for Canadian citizenship or permanent residency
  • you are already participating in a scholarship program funded by the Government of Canada
  • you are already enrolled in a degree, diploma or certificate program at a Canadian post-secondary institution
  • you have previously received a scholarship under the Canada-ASEAN Scholarships and Educational Exchanges for Development Program

Canadian post-secondary institutions interested in hosting students must:

  • ✔ be a Designated Learning Institution  (DLI)
  • ✔ have a valid student exchange agreement with the student’s home institution that waives tuition fees for scholarship recipients (required for college/undergraduate study only)

Grants for international research collaborations


Semarang, Diponegoro International Office: We invite applications from UK institutions for research proposals, offering grants of up to £80,000 (£100,000 full economic costs), to collaborate with international partners through the Department of Science, Innovation, and Technology’s International Science Partnerships Fund (ISPF).

Countries initially joining this call include Egypt, Indonesia, Kenya, Malaysia, Philippines, Thailand, Turkey and Vietnam.

ISPF research collaboration grants provide small scale seed funding for collaborations between the UK and the participating ISPF countries/territories in each call to:

  • initiate new research and innovation collaborations between academic groups, departments, and institutions in partner countries and the UK
  • develop existing collaborations at group, departmental, and institutional level
  • encourage these collaborations to work with non-academic organisations and individuals to support the exchange of research and innovation expertise and the translation of research knowledge into tangible benefits
  • establish local hubs for UK- partner country/territory  activity in a particular area, enabling engagement from the wider research and innovation community.

Who can apply

Both UK and international partner researchers must be leading researchers or established researchers.

In addition, UK researchers must be:

  • permanent employees at their institutions (emeritus and honorary professors may not apply as lead)
  • working at a not-for-profit higher education institution or eligible research organisation with the capacity to undertake high-quality research.

This 60-minute webinar will provide background to researchers considering applying for a research collaboration grant under ISPF, delivered by the British Council. It will cover the following topics:

  • Introduction to the International Science Partnerships Fund.
  • Eligibility requirements and application process for research collaborations grants.
  • Official development assistance – ensuring your project is eligible.
  • Writing a gender statement – why and how.
  • Questions and answers.
