Semarang, io.undip.ac.id —Kangwon National University (KNU) is excited to announce its 2025 Spring Exchange Program, welcoming students from partner institutions around the globe. Qualification
1. Qualification of understanding classes in Korean or English
2. Undergraduate who completed at least 2 semesters at home university
3. Minimum GPA 2.7 out of 4.0 (or 3.0 out of 4.5)
– Application: Online application (KNU OIA will open the online website for the nominee)

Students need to upload 1, 2 via online application. Also they need to bring 1, 2 in person when they enter Korea. (Exemption for the students from OECD Country students)

We are excited to announce the opening of applications for the Ryukyus Student Exchange Program for the spring semester of 2025. This program offers an incredible opportunity for students to immerse themselves in a diverse academic and cultural environment at Ryukyus University.
About the Program: The Ryukyus Student Exchange Program allows students to spend a semester studying at Ryukyus University in Japan, experiencing its renowned academic programs and vibrant campus life. Participants will have the chance to engage with students from around the world, broaden their perspectives, and create lifelong memories.
Eligibility: To be eligible for the program, students must:
- Be currently enrolled at Diponegoro University
- Meet the academic requirements set by both Diponegoro University and Ryukyus University
- Have proficiency in English or Japanese, depending on the language of instruction for their chosen courses

Semarang, io.undip.ac.id – On Thursday 22nd of August 2024, Diponegoro International Office had the privilege of hosting an insightful Scholarship Information Session, designed to empower students with the knowledge and opportunities needed to advance their academic and professional journeys. The session featured a distinguished speaker from the United Kingdom Embassy, Ms. Melisa R Kusuma, who provided valuable insights into the scholarship programs available to aspiring scholars.
The event kicked off with a warm welcome from the Head of Diponegoro International Office, Mr. Pulung Widhi Hari H., S.H., LL.M., who emphasized the importance of scholarships in enabling students to pursue their dreams and contribute to global knowledge and innovation. “This session is a gateway to countless opportunities that can transform your academic and career trajectories,” Mr. Pulung noted.
The session highlighted key opportunities, including eligibility criteria, application processes, and tips for crafting a compelling scholarship application. Ms. Melisa also shared inspiring success stories of previous scholarship recipients who have excelled in their fields, encouraging attendees to seize these opportunities with confidence.
The participants from various UNDIP’s faculties actively engaged in the Q&A segment, seeking further clarification on specific scholarship details and expressing their eagerness to apply. Semarang, io.undip.ac.id —The Aussie Banget Corner (ABC) was formally opened on Tuesday, August 27, 2024, on the first floor of Diponegoro University Library in Semarang. The Australian Embassy in Indonesia has been organizing a series of roadshows to launch the Aussie Banget Corner, in partnership with various higher education institutions across Indonesia, as part of the celebration of the 75th anniversary of diplomatic ties between Indonesia and Australia.
Steve Scott, the Australian Consul General in Surabaya, together with Wijayanto, S.IP., M.Si., Ph.D., Vice-Rector for Research, Innovation, and Cooperation, who represented the Rector of UNDIP, signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to inaugurate the Aussie Banget Corner at UNDIP. The event was attended by the Vice-Rector for Communication and Business, Deans of Faculties/Schools, UNDIP officials, and representatives from the Australian Consulate General, including Hafiz Al Asad (Public Diplomacy Officer), Marie Purba (Strategic Communications Officer), and Wilda Anggraeni (Senior Media Officer).
Steve Scott emphasized that the creation of the Aussie Banget Corner is intended to support the continued development of education, a key area of focus in Indonesia-Australia relations. “Let’s collaborate to nurture high-achieving students through sustained academic activities, deepen their understanding, and foster an inclusive learning environment. Best wishes for success!” said Steve Scott.
Wijayanto, S.IP., M.Si., Ph.D., Vice-Rector for Research, Innovation, and Cooperation, commended the long-standing diplomatic relationship between Indonesia and Australia. He expressed optimism that the opening of the Aussie Banget Corner in multiple cities, including Semarang, would further enhance and strengthen Indonesia-Australia collaboration. He remarked, “As noted by the Rector of UNDIP, cooperation in education, research, and community service is vital to realizing UNDIP’s vision and advancing toward becoming a World-Class University.”
The Aussie Banget Corner is equipped with study areas and a mini-library, making it an ideal space for student gatherings or discussion forums. The launch event also featured an Australia Awards Scholarships Information Session, which aimed to assist students in developing their skills according to their field of study and education level. The session included presentations by Ayesha N Zulazmi (Communication and Public Diplomacy Coordinator, AAS in Indonesia) on “Australia Awards Scholarships Intake 2026” and Dzunuwanus Ghulam Manar, S.IP., M.Si. (Lecturer at FISIP UNDIP), who shared his “Personal Reflections as an AAS 2025 Intake Scholarship Recipient.” (Jenn)
