LPDP Joint Degree / Double Degree Programme

The Joint Degree and Double Degree Program of 2026 offered by Lembaga Pengelola Dana Pendidikan (LPDP) is designed to strengthen international academic collaboration and enhance the global competitiveness of Indonesian scholars. This scheme provides opportunities for outstanding Indonesian students to pursue graduate studies through structured partnerships between domestic and international universities.

The Double Degree Program enables students to study at two partner universities—one in Indonesia and one abroad—and earn two separate academic degrees within a single integrated study period. This model allows students to benefit from complementary academic strengths, research environments, and cross-cultural experiences.

Meanwhile, the Joint Degree Program is conducted under a formal collaboration between two universities, where students complete a unified curriculum jointly designed and supervised by both institutions. Upon completion, graduates receive a single degree that is jointly conferred by the partner universities.

Through these programs, LPDP aims to accelerate knowledge transfer, expand global networks, and cultivate future leaders equipped with international perspectives and strong academic foundations. The 2026 scheme continues to emphasize academic excellence, institutional partnership, and strategic alignment with Indonesia’s national development priorities.

Both programs reflect LPDP’s commitment to fostering world-class human resources and promoting meaningful collaboration between Indonesian higher education institutions and leading universities worldwide.
