Semarang, io.undip.ac.id – Indonesia-Austria Scholarship Program (IASP)  is a scholarship for doctoral program in Austria with fully-funded scheme authorized by the Indonesia Government through Directorate General of Education, Research, and Technology, along with the Austriam Government through Österreichische Austauschdienst-Gesselschaft mit beschränkter Haftung  (OeAD- GmbH)

Targeted Participants

Permanent lecturer of any universities under the Ministry of Education, Culture, Research, and Technology.

Duration

3 years to study doctoral programme in universities in Austria

Funding Components

1. Tuition Fee (SPP);
2. International transportation fee;
3. Mobility fee;
4. Health Insurance;
5. Living allowance;
6. Settlement allowance (for family, start from the 3^rd semester).

Requirements:

1. Stated as permanent lecturer under Ministry of Education, Culture, Research, and Technology;
2. National Lecturer ID Number (Nomor Induk Dosen Nasional);
3. Permission letter from the authorities (for PTN) and/or the Head of Lembaga Layanan Pendidikan Tinggi (LDDikti) from the respective region;
4. Graduate from magister programme maximum 5 years per registration period;
5. Have not graduate and have any on-going doctoral programme;
6. Have an English Proficiency Test from the last two years per 2023 with minimum score:
   1. TOEFL iBT® 90
   2. TOEFL ITP® 550
   3. IELTS™ 6,5
7. Have a 2-4 pages of research proposal (title, content, methodology, and timetable) that has been approved by the supervisor in university in Austria;
8. Maximum age of 35 per 31 December 2023;
9. CV written in English;
10. Two (2) recommendation letter written in English (can be from Magister Supervisor or other authorities);
11. Active passport (minimum 1 year active);
12. Unconditional Letter of Acceptance (LoA) from host universities;
13. Certificate and transcript of Magister Program in English;
14. Healthy, both physically and mentally, proven by the government medical certificate;
15. Applicants with marriage status, or who are husband/wife, and have the same scientific field, are not allowed to apply to the same university and/or be guided by the same supervisor.

Timeline

1. Apply online through https://beasiswadosen.kemdikb ud.go.id;
2. Complete and upload the required documents on website;
3. Submit all the requirements to get registration code.

Chung-Ang University Student Exchange Programme Fall 2023

Semarang, io.undip.ac.id – Chung-Ang University administers a wide range of student exchange programs with its partner schools around the world on a semestral or academic-year basis. For exchange students from most colleges and universities, the credits earned at Chung-Ang University can be transferred back to the student’s home university.

4. Certificate of Relevant English or Korean Proficiency

Civil Engineering, Diponegoro University succeeds to implement “Sakura Program”

Semarang, io.undip.ac.id – The Sakura Program was a collaborative program to share knowledge from various fields, demonstrates advanced technology, and appreciates the local culture. On this occasion, the participants were lecturers, master students, and undergraduate students from Diponegoro University, led by Dr.-Ing. Bobby Rio Indriyantho, S.T., M.T

The program aimed to exchange knowledge from visited universities and research sites, appreciates the local culture, and supports the development of talented human resources. The program provided insight and demonstrations in various fields, most notably civil engineering.

The program was hosted by Nihon University with the assistance from various local institutions. Knowledge sharing consisted of theoretical lectures and practical demonstrations by field experts from Nihon University, Miharu Dam, and the University of Tokyo. Activities related to knowledge sharing were conducted at Nihon University in Koriyama and the University of Tokyo in Tokyo. The program visited Miharu Dam for a practical demonstration regarding its purpose.
