Diponegoro University is pleased to announce the 2026 RSJP Express Program at Ritsumeikan University, Japan. This short-term academic program offers a unique opportunity for students to experience an intensive learning environment that combines Japanese language study with in-depth cultural exploration.

The program is designed as a two-week immersive course, where participants will attend daily Japanese language classes tailored to their proficiency levels. In addition to language instruction, students will join Japan Studies sessions covering various topics such as history, society, and contemporary culture. The program also includes interactive cultural activities, field trips, and opportunities to engage directly with local students, allowing participants to gain firsthand experience of life in Japan.

The RSJP Express Program is open to undergraduate and postgraduate students who are interested in enhancing their global perspective and intercultural competence. Upon successful completion of the program, participants will receive an official certificate issued by Ritsumeikan University.

The program is scheduled to take place in late July to early August 2026. Applicants are required to prepare the necessary documents and follow the application procedures as outlined by the program organizer. As the application process involves institutional coordination, all students must be nominated through the Diponegoro International Office.

The Diponegoro International Office will facilitate the internal selection, nomination, and administrative process for all applicants from Diponegoro University. Students are strongly encouraged to carefully review the application guidelines and submit all required documents before the specified deadline.

Students of Diponegoro University who wish to participate in this program must first undergo an internal selection process conducted by the Diponegoro International Office (DIO) before being nominated to the host university. The Diponegoro International Office plays a central role in coordinating the selection and nomination process.

Document Requirements

  1. Active Student Status
    Applicants must be active students who have completed at least their third semester, proven by a valid Student ID Card (KTM) and KRS.
  2. Minimum GPA
    Applicants must have a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.00, as shown in the official academic transcript.
  3. Recommendation Letter
    A recommendation letter issued by the Dean or Vice Dean of the applicant’s faculty.
  4. Foreign Language Proficiency
    Proof of foreign language proficiency with a minimum TOEFL score of 500 or equivalent.
  5. Study Plan
    A written study plan (maximum 300 words) outlining the applicant’s academic and personal objectives for joining the program (PDF format).

All applicants are required to carefully prepare and submit the necessary documents before the deadline. The Diponegoro International Office will assist students throughout the selection and nomination process to ensure all requirements are properly fulfilled.
