Admission Requirements

Review Entry Requirements

Before submitting your application, please ensure that you meet the admission requirements and prepare all supporting documents. Applicants are encouraged to review the eligibility criteria carefully before proceeding to the next step.

General Requirements

Applicants must meet one of the following academic qualifications:

  • Graduate from a nationally accredited high school.
  • Graduate from an International Diploma Programme (3 years).
  • Hold an international qualification equivalent to the above requirements.

English & Language Requirements

International Undergraduate Programmes (IUP) are delivered in English, while some undergraduate programmes are offered in Bahasa Indonesia (Regular Programme).

  • TOEFL PBT 500
  • TOEFL CBT 173
  • TOEFL iBT 60
  • IELTS 5.5

Applicants to the Regular Undergraduate Programme must also obtain a BIPA Level 3 Certificate.

Submit Your Application

Once you have prepared all required documents, complete your application through the Universitas Diponegoro Online Admission System. Follow the application process below.

Register using your active email address. All admission notifications and updates will be sent to this email.

Complete Application

Select your study programme and upload all required supporting documents in PDF format (maximum 1000 KB each), including language certificates and other programme-specific requirements.

Carefully review all information before submitting your application. Once everything is complete, click Submit to finalize your application.

Admission Result

Respond to Your Acceptance

Congratulations! If your application is successful, Universitas Diponegoro will issue your Letter of Acceptance (LoA). The LoA will be available in your admission account and sent to your registered email address.

Confirm Your Admission

If you accept the admission offer and intend to begin your studies in the stated admission period, please confirm your enrolment by contacting the International Office via email.

Need to Defer?

If you wish to postpone your enrolment, simply notify the International Office by email. Our team will assist you with the deferral process.

Important Information

Your Letter of Acceptance (LoA) is valid for two (2) admission periods. Please confirm your enrolment or request a deferral before the validity period expires.

Get Ready for Universitas Diponegoro

Congratulations on your admission! Before beginning your studies, please complete the following preparations to ensure a smooth transition to life at Universitas Diponegoro and in Semarang, Indonesia.

Apply for a Student Visa

International students are required to obtain an Indonesian Student Visa before travelling to Indonesia. The Diponegoro International Office will assist you throughout the visa application and stay permit process.

Prepare for Life in Semarang

Familiarise yourself with Semarang before your arrival. Learn about the city’s climate, local cuisine, transportation, healthcare facilities, and cultural environment. You may also need to arrange international health insurance before your departure.

Find Accommodation

Choose the accommodation that best suits your needs before arriving in Semarang. Available options include university dormitories, apartments, hotels, and private rental rooms.

Airport Pick-up

The Diponegoro International Office provides an airport pick-up service for international students. If you wish to use this service, please make your reservation at least one week before your arrival.
