Calling all Undip students!
Universitas Diponegoro, in collaboration with University of Nottingham Ningbo China (UNNC), invites eligible students to participate in the Student Exchange Program for Spring Semester of the 2026/2027 Academic Year.
This program provides Undip students with an opportunity to experience an international academic environment, take courses at UNNC, and gain valuable academic and intercultural experiences in Ningbo, China.
IMPORTANT: This exchange program is subject to internal selection by Universitas Diponegoro. Due to limited nomination quotas and specific eligibility criteria, students must pass the internal selection process conducted by the International Office (IO) Undip before being nominated to UNNC.
Submission of documents to IO Undip does not automatically guarantee nomination or admission to UNNC.

Eligibility & Requirements
1. Active Student Status
Applicants must be active Universitas Diponegoro students who have completed at least their third semester. Applicants must provide:- Valid Student ID Card (KTM)
- Current Academic Registration (KRS)
2. Minimum GPA
Applicants must have a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.00, as demonstrated by an official academic transcript.3. Recommendation Letter
A recommendation letter issued by the Dean or Vice Dean of the applicant’s faculty is required.4. English Language Proficiency
Applicants must provide proof of English language proficiency with a minimum:- IELTS: 6.5 with the writing band no less than 6.0, or
- TOEFL (paper-based): 575 + TWE no less than 4.5, or
- TOEFL (computer-based): 232 + TWE no less than 4.5, or
- TOEFL (iBT): 88 (minimum 19 in any element), or
- Have passed 60 ECTS (European Credits) in English-taught courses
5. Study Plan
Applicants must prepare a study plan of maximum 300 words outlining their:- Academic objectives
- Personal objectives
- Motivation for participating in the exchange program
6. Passport
Applicants must be medically fit to travel and possess a valid passport. Students are required to complete the internal registration form first. Please note: Only students who successfully pass the internal selection and are officially nominated by Universitas Diponegoro will proceed to the application process at UNNC.
Application Process
Stage 1 – Internal Selection by Universitas Diponegoro
Students must:- Review the eligibility requirements.
- Prepare all required documents.
- Submit the application through the Student Mobility Undip registration form before the deadline.
- Participate in the document screening process.
- Attend the interview conducted by IO Undip.
- Wait for the official announcement of nominated students.
Stage 2 – Application to UNNC
Students who are officially nominated by Universitas Diponegoro will proceed with the application to UNNC. After nomination, students will receive an automatic email containing their username and password for the UNNC online application system. The UNNC online application portal is: UNNC Online Application Portal Students nominated by Undip will be required to prepare supporting documents, including:- Most recent academic transcript
- Passport identity page
- Passport-size photograph
- English language test result

Students are encouraged to review the available courses at UNNC before applying.

Students should carefully review the course offerings and ensure that their intended courses are academically relevant to their study program at Universitas Diponegoro.
Visa
Students nominated to UNNC are responsible for completing the required visa/immigration process in accordance with the regulations applicable to international students in China.

Accommodation
Students are advised to arrange campus accommodation in advance.
Campus accommodation must be applied for and paid in advance. UNNC will provide further booking information to students during the summer vacation.

Application Acceptance
Following the submission of a complete application and all required supporting documents, UNNC aims to respond within approximately one week.
Successful applicants will receive further information regarding the admission process, including instructions related to the relevant government system and admission documents.

- All applicants must undergo the internal selection process conducted by IO Undip.
- Students may only proceed to the UNNC application stage after being officially nominated by Universitas Diponegoro.
