Semarang, io.undip.ac.id  — Kangwon National University (KNU) is excited to announce its 2024 Exchange Program, welcoming students from partner institutions around the globe. This program offers an exceptional opportunity for international students to experience South Korean culture and education at one of the country’s leading universities.

Program Highlights:

Academic Calendar:

  1. Spring Semester: Early March – Mid-June
  2. Summer Break: Late June – Late August
  3. Fall Semester: Early September – Late December
  4. Winter Break: Late December – Late February

Eligibility Requirements:

  1. Ability to understand classes in Korean or English
  2. Completion of at least two semesters at the home university
  3. GPA of 2.7 or higher on a 4.0 scale (or 3.0 on a 4.5 scale)

Nomination and Application Deadlines:

  1. Spring Semester Nomination Deadline: October 20
  2. Fall Semester Nomination Deadline: April 20
  3. Spring Semester Application Deadline: November 10
  4. Fall Semester Application Deadline: May 10

 

Nomination Process: 

Partner institutions can nominate students using our straightforward Excel form, available on our website. Following nomination, students will submit their online applications by the deadlines specified.

 

Transcript Information: 

KNU will provide English transcripts to each student’s home university automatically at the end of each semester.
